Your books are reviewed and ready when tax season arrives, so there’s less scrambling, fewer questions, and no last-minute cleanup before your return can be prepared.
How it works
Set it up once. Stay current all year.
We handle the day-to-day bookkeeping, keep questions organized, and close every month on schedule. You step in only when we need context from you.
Onboarding & cleanup
We connect your accounts, set up your books around how your business operates, and clean up anything that needs fixing before we take over.
Keep the books current
Transactions are categorized throughout the month, and questions are handled as they come up — instead of piling up at year-end.
Reconcile & close
We reconcile your accounts, review anything unusual, and close the month so your numbers are complete and ready to rely on.

Frequently asked questions
What does a monthly close actually include?
Every transaction categorized, bank and credit card accounts reconciled to their statements, loans and merchant accounts tied out, accruals and prepaids handled, then the period locked - followed by your statements and a short note on what changed.
When will my books be ready each month?
Our goal is to have the prior month closed and reconciled by the 15th. Once the close is complete, you’ll receive your monthly financial statements and anything we think is worth your attention.
My books are behind or a mess. Can you still take them over?
Absolutely. We’ll first determine how much cleanup is needed, correct the historical books, and get everything current. From there, we move into the normal monthly close process so you’re not playing catch-up again next year.
How is this different from a bookkeeper I hire directly?
Tax is the core of what we do, so the books are prepared with tax optimization in mind. We also give you tax-related insights such as updated estimates taxes.
Do I need to change my accounting software?
Not necessarily. We’ll review your current setup during onboarding and let you know if anything should change. If your existing system works well, there’s no reason to rebuild it just for the sake of switching.
What do you need from me each month?
Usually, not much. Your accounts stay connected and we handle the routine work in the background. If we come across a transaction that needs context, we’ll send you a short list of questions so we can close the month on time.
What happens when tax season arrives?
There’s no scramble to clean up a year’s worth of bookkeeping before the return can start. Your books have already been reconciled and reviewed throughout the year, and your bookkeeping and tax teams work together when it’s time to prepare the return.
